Speech and debate classes provide a unique opportunity for students to improve their communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence in public speaking. These classes often cover a wide range of topics, from persuasive speeches to argumentative debates, and teach students how to effectively research, organize, and present their ideas.
Our classes typically start by teaching fundamental skills, such as proper posture, breathing techniques, and vocal projection. As students progress, they learn more advanced skills, such as effective storytelling, persuasive speaking, and impromptu speaking. Public speaking classes will include opportunities for students to practice their skills in front of their peers, receive constructive feedback, and refine their techniques. Whether someone is a novice or an experienced speaker, our public speaking classes can help them develop the skills and confidence necessary to communicate effectively in any setting.

I absolutely loved this class. I learnt so much as a beginner who knew nothing about speech or debate. Coach Amulya is a great teacher who is always up to date on when the next tournaments will be. Even as I got better in speech and debate, they continued to help me grow my skill set and under them, I placed in an asynchronous tournament. Highly recommend Articulate Minds Academy.
I really enjoyed being a part of this class. I know after taking this class my speech has significantly improved and I have increased my vocabulary which was one of my goals before I took this class. The warm-up games were fun and perfectly warmed us up for the rest of the class. I like how we would actually learn about different types of debates and actually try them, I think that really helped.
Articulate Minds Academy was a really enriching experience for me to be in. I learnt a lot and tried many new things to explore what I was capable of. The timing was hard for me sometimes [...], but I still enjoyed it because my teacher really put her heart into teaching. Overall, it was a good experience overall and I'm ready for the next semester!
